MARCO NUÑEZ ZAMOLLOA was born in Cusco, Peru. He is a teacher well-versed in the ancient wisdom of the Andes and is an accomplished shaman. At the age of 17, he started training as a mountain climber and guide, covering an area of over 25,000 miles in the Andes of Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador. It was here that he learned the medicine way and studied with and was initiated by numerous healers from the Andes. Marco graduated from the University of San Antonio Abad del Cusco and advises holders of mesas and experienced shamans in the medicine ways of the Andes. For the past 10 years, he has acted as facilitator and interpretor for many shamans during events. Although Don Martin only speaks in the Quechua dialect, Marco is fluent in Quechua, Spanish, French and English. Marco has been studying with Don Martin for over 15 years and also runs a successful tour company in Peru. He has walked over 30,000 km in the Andes.
