Remembering Ancestral Wisdom
Alison is a native of Newfoundland, Canada. As a child, she was a sensitive and curious explorer of the world; a natural student, caretaker and leader. She could often be found digging in the earth, climbing trees, collecting shells and stones on the beaches, and making mud puddle soup for her friends.
After more than 40 years of experience in the human services field, a Ph.D. in Family Relations and Human Development and extensive shamanic training, Alison is dedicated to the emerging consciousness of the sacredness of life, restoring feminine wisdom traditions and interspecies relatedness with the plants and trees and elementals and all creatures, great and small.
Today Alison is a Connector, Believer in Magic, Seeker of Truth, and an Appreciator of Beauty and Mystery for its own sake. She knows herself to be Authentic, Compassionate, Creative, Gracious, Inspirational, Optimistic and Peaceful, Thoughtful and Wise, and still Learning and Growing.
She sees the world though eyes of curiosity, wonder and awe, as a magnificent unfolding and evolving complexity and mystery. For Alison life is a banquet for the senses, a feast for the body, mind and spirit, a priceless gift to be unwrapped layer by layer, and savored.
Alison is inspired by the courage, strength and resilience of the human spirit, the enduring and evolving diversity and consciousness of the natural world; the beauty, order and majesty of the heavens and how it is mirrored in the minutest particles of the creation; and by those who continue to love and believe in this world in the face of formidable odds.
In her capacity as a fellow human being and as an Ancestral Wisdomkeeper, Author, Master Teacher and Human Potential Visionary, Alison is passionate about stewardship and co-creation with the natural world. She is a fierce advocate for peace and freedom for all beings, and for expanding our appreciation, understanding, and the potential of our place in the order of things.
The Magical Isle of Newfoundland & Labrador
Once near the center of the super-continent Pangaea, the island part of this province is now located at the most Eastern edge of the North American continent. This part of the world has powerful elemental energies, spectacular landscapes and pristine wild natural beauty. And a special destiny on the emerging New Earth.
For thousands of years people have come from the North, South, East and West and gather here still. The Paleo-Eskimo Dorset people were one such shamanic lineage.

A Call to Action...
Alison has a special calling to heal our relationship with our own feminine nature, our intuitive and instinctual wisdom, and our inter-species relatedness with the animal kingdoms of Mother Earth.
Alison carries in her DNA the blood lineages of the Indigenous peoples of Newfoundland and Labrador as well as the Celtic Lineages of her Germanic, English and French Ancestors. These Ancestors summoned her back to her birthplace in Gros Morne National Park. She tells this story in her new book, Return to Pangaea: A Shamanic Journey Back to Newfoundland Roots.
Gros Morne Essences are natural healing remedies she co-created with the spirits of the elemental realms. More recently, Alison has developed, articulated, and refined ancestral wisdom presented now in workshop and Intensive Retreat programs.
